Markdown
Output
Raw HTML is shown as text, never executed.
Converted locally. Your Markdown stays in this tab; the page has no upload step.
/ 01 — The workflow
From plain text to usable markup
Three small steps, with the source and result visible at the same time.
Write or import
Paste Markdown or open a local .md file. The editor updates its word and line count as you work.
Inspect both views
Use Preview for the rendered structure and HTML for the exact markup that will be copied.
Move the result
Copy the HTML fragment into a CMS or download a standalone file that opens directly in a browser.
/ 02 — Syntax bench

Download a standalone page when someone needs a result they can open without an editor.
Start a component
Turn notes or documentation into a semantic fragment before applying project-specific classes.
/ 05 — FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short answers about output, safety and compatibility.
Is my Markdown uploaded anywhere?
No. File reading and conversion happen in your browser. This tool does not send your Markdown to a conversion server.
Can I paste the result into WordPress?
Yes. Copy the generated fragment and paste it into a Custom HTML block. Your WordPress theme will control the final visual styling.
Does it support tables and task lists?
Yes. Simple pipe tables and checklist items such as - [x] Done are converted. Complex nested table syntax may need a final edit.
What is included in the downloaded file?
The download is a standalone HTML document with a doctype, responsive viewport metadata and lightweight reading styles around your converted content.
Why can the pasted result look different from the preview?
HTML describes structure. The destination site's CSS controls typography, colors and spacing, so the same markup can look different in each theme.
